What is rhodium plating?
Our rhodium plated jewelry are made of .925 sterling silver, then plated with rhodium to give each piece a very expensive look that is nearly identical to platinum or white gold jewelry, but at a fraction of the cost. Additionally, the rhodium plating is very effective in preventing the effects of oxidation, or tarnishing. If you purchase a few pieces of jewelry items, we recommend that you make sure your selections all have the same finish so that the colors of the pieces you purchase match! Remember, rhodium has a white gold look and silver has a plain silver look. If you prefer silver, then purchase our silver with no rhodium plating. If you prefer white gold, then make sure your selections are all rhodium plated (this is what we recommend as rhodium plated jewelry shines and looks just like real white gold).
If my transaction was not approved, why does there seem to be a charge to my account?
If your transaction was not approved for any reason, your account may appear to have been debited even though it was not. This is due to the way the banking transaction occurs. When you order using a credit or debit account, the system first checks for availability of funds. If the funds are available, the system will automatically reserve those funds to secure the order. At this point, the system will verify the remaining information, such as address verification, authorization, etc. If the transaction fails at any of these points, your bank will decline the withdrawal. However, since the account funds were reserved at the beginning of the transaction, it may take anywhere from 3-5 days, for your bank to record the declined transaction and your account will then reflect the availability of those funds.
